    Store design

Although Kathari is a hypothetical brand right now, there are plans to have a pop-up store in the future! Keep scrolling to find out the thought process behind the store design!

Despite what some may assume, instead of basing Kathari's first shop in the U.S., I would choose to build the pop-up in Athens, Greece. Ultimately, I want to bring more attention to Greece in the fashion industry and help it become one of the main fashion capitals of the world. Although I cannot single-handedly make that happen, I hope that placing my store in such a popular destination for tourists from all around the world will attract more fashion influencers and will inspire them to create their own shops there. If the store is successful in Athens, I would move on to Mykonos, which is known for its party scenes among celebrities. There, I have no doubt that the brand would pick up more traction via social media and will help Greece become even more popular.

As for the actual store design, the main colors are beige, white, and other naturally subdued tones that are contrasted by splashes of blues in rugs and garments being sold. The shop would be two stories high and have an abundance of natural light flooding the space, to give it a large, airy feel. There would be Greek patterns and other elements of Greek culture scattered around the room, yet purposely placed not to overpower the clothing. The exposed beams and brick give the store an authentic, earthy feeling that aligns with the aesthetic of the brand.
