KATHARI

My name is Nicole Karadimitriou, I am a fourth-year student in the Reneé Crown Honors Program at Syracuse University, and I am the founder of Kathari. As a first-generation American, I’ve always felt connected to my Greek culture. This connection fueled me to combine my love for fashion with my heritage, to create my brand, Kathari. However, Kathari isn’t just any fashion brand, it’s environmentally sustainable. Fast fashion is one of the top contributors to climate change, yet not many people know about it. My goal for Kathari isn’t just to create clothes that express my background without leaving a carbon footprint, but it’s also to spread awareness about such a huge issue in our modern-day world.
